Van Nuys, Cal.

Two employees arrived for their morning shift to find an officer dead. The Plant manager Bill Weddell reported this officer had been working the twelve hour night shift alone. He fell down two flights of stairs and broke his neck. Paralyzed, he suffered for several hours before passing away.

Richardson, TX.

According to the DPS, a security officer was assisting a motorist involved in a minor accident. During this time, he was struck and killed by a hit and run driver. His employer was not notified of the accident for over five hours.

St.Louis, MO.

During a snowstorm, Security Officer JC Hughes Sr. slipped on the ice and was knocked unconscious during his shift. The officer was not discovered for approximately 5 hours. Due to severe frostbite, doctors at Barnes Hospital reported he would probably require amputation of his fingers and nose.


Pittsburgh, PA

Security officer Robert Swenson was found dead this morning after suffering a massive heart attack shortly after he started his shift. Mr. Swenson had arrived for work last night at 11PM and was discovered this morning at 7AM by the building manager.
